I'm Ms. Mallare.  I graduated from UVA in 1987 with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing.  Following graduation, I worked as a primary nurse in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at the University of Virginia Hospital and then worked for several years for a pharmaceutical research company.  Eventually, I returned to school to pursue my lifelong goal of teaching. My endorsement is in Pre-K through 6th-grade education; I completed my Master of Arts in Teaching through Mary Baldwin College in 2010.

Over the years, I have worked at North Cross and in Roanoke County.  I joined the staff at Crystal Spring in January of 2010 and am thrilled to be a part of this school community.
